Reiki is a Japanese technique that treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. The following Ayurvedic treatments are based on a 5000 year old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. Our Ayurvedic treatments use Om Veda products. These products are not tested on animals and are free of chemicals and preservatives.
Shirodhara
According to Ayurveda, Shirodhara deeply relaxes the nervous system, lowers metabolism, integrates brain function and creates an alpha state of brain wave coherence. As warm Om Veda oil is gently poured on the forehead around the “third eye”, the nervous system is deeply stilled. Regular treatments are said to improve memory, nourish the hair and scalp, encourage sound sleep and calm body and mind. Plus – it feels great!

Vatakizhi: ayurvedic herbal pain relief
"Vata" (an Ayurvedic term) can cause disorders of joints, muscles and mobility. "Kizhi" means a bundle of herbs. In this Om Veda treatment a bundle of therapeutic herbs is selected for their ability to reduce aches and pains from arthritis, rheumatic joint pain, swelling and sprains. These herbs are soaked in warm herbal oils and applied over the body.

Udvarthanam: ayurvedic detox and cellulite treatment
Designed to induce perspiration, kickstart weightloss, improve skin complexion and enhance the mobility of joints. In this Ayurvedic treatment, a fine medicated powder is applied over the body before being infused deep into the skin through a vigorous massage.
